Synthetic Grass is a fantastic solution for multi-use areas such as school playgrounds and ovals. They provide schools with a green space and flexibility irrespective of weather and play.

That said they are still susceptible to wear and require maintenance activities to ensure the longevity, safety and presentability of the surface.

Major Servicing or Deep Cleaning

This service includes: Removing debris; loosening/disturbing the infill allowing it to be cleaned of dust and small broken-down vegetation and fibres; returning the infill back to the heavy wear areas; checking of seams; reporting to the facility owners

For this service Sports Clean deploys the world’s leading synthetic grass maintenance machine and its various cleaning attachments.

Frequency of this service will depend on a number of things including use, and vegetation cover but it is most influenced by what maintenance work is undertaken by the on-site facility caretaker. Most often these multi use areas are Deep Cleaned by Sports Clean 4 times per year usually during the school holidays.

Rejuvenation Service

Should your Multi-Use area get out of its maintenance routine it may require rejuvenation. This is carried out via a deeper and aggressive brush and tine penetration in multiple passes into the hard surface. Plus seam repairs and/or patching as required, and usually the application of additional infill.

From time to time all synthetic fields will require repairs. Sports Clean has carried out many repairs and collaboratively works with the installers and the clients to get the necessary results.
